Too much to write in this little space but we finish our last week in the Northern Territory of Australia and fly over to Cairns where we spend our last 2 weeks camping on the Queensland coast. Our trip is coming to an end and I’m working on staying present but I’m just so gosh darn excited to see my friends and family back home.
We drive to Karijini National Park and explore the gorgeous gorges there. Then back to the coast and see some of the most stunning sunsets. We get to Broome where I feel like I left a little part of my heart 20 years ago. It’s so good to be back but the feelings are a bit conflicting. We’re now heading towards the Northern Territory and the sights are a bit dry. We wished we could have taken the Gibb River Road but alas we don’t have 4 wheel drive.
We hit the road and see the Pinnacles, Kalbarri National Park, Monkey Mia, dolphins, Coral Bay, a stingray, snorkeling and exploring! We are getting used to roadtripping and our van Marvel. We’re also getting used to sleeping in the van! As we drive North it’s getting hotter again – back into the 30’s. The west coast of Australia is so beautiful. It’s lacking much between tourist spots but it’s still so untouched.
